It is informed that our batch-mate, Dr.Sounderarajan M.S., Professor of Surgery, Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai, expired on 19.06.2013.

News on the death anniversary of Dr.G.S.

As we stepped into our first Clinical year studies at Government Erskine Hospital, we know Dr.G.Subramanian M.B.,B.S., F.R.C.P., Ph.D. as the Professor of Department of Medicine. He was fair complexioned and then known fondly as Dr.GS. His OP and Ward rounds were characteristic: the place was hushed down; he entered the place followed by Assistants, PG students, House Surgeons and others. We watched him with reverence, isn't it? Found-out Andhaman batch-mate!

For years long when we have been talking about our batch-mates who had lost contact with us after graduation from Madurai Medical College, Madurai. With our sincere efforts, we have now traced out our Andhaman batch-mate, Dr.Taravathy at New Delhi!
